Custom T-shirt Quilt - DEPOSIT Only

Turn those boxes or drawers of t-shirts you no longer wear into a soft, beautiful keepsake that you can enjoy for years! Commemorate your favorite sports team, your high school sports career, your sorority or fraternity days, a tour of duty in the armed services, or a loved one... the options are limited only by your imagination and your t-shirt supply!

Each shirt is cut to emphasize and center logos. Borders are added to complement blocks and make a modern, quality quilt. Featherweight interfacing is ironed to shirts to keep them from stretching and add durability. All quilts have warm, low loft batting in a breathable cotton blend. This makes for a thin but warm quilt that has a beautiful drape for wrapping up in! I add flannel backing in a coordinating color to finish the cozy feel. (Both batting and backing can be modified upon request!).

All quilts can be machine washed and tumble dried on low.

How many t-shirts do you need? Great question! Here is a guideline for how many shirts you need for each quilt size. However, I'm happy to help work with you if you're a few short (or have a few extra!). Four small logos (like on sleeves) equal 1 full shirt for this purpose. Double sided shirts with logos you want to use count as two shirts.

Newborn: 1-4 shirts (approx 24x24 inches finished quilt)
Crib: 6-12 shirts (approx 36x42 inches finished quilt)
Toddler bed: 12 - 18 shirts (approx 42x60 inches finished quilt)
Throw: 16 - 22 shirts (approx 48x64 inches finished quilt)
Twin: 20 - 30 shirts (approx 64x80 inches finished quilt)
Long Twin: 24 - 34 shirts (approx 64x96 inches finished quilt)
Full: 38 - 42 shirts (approx 82x96 inches finished quilt)
Queen: 48 - 60 shirts (approx 96x96 inches finished quilt)

I can usually make any number of tshirts stretch up to the next quilt size, but I have a harder time cutting a ton of tshirts down to a smaller quilt size than they're meant for. If your shirts arrive and seem like they need a bigger quilt size, I'll reach out and we can figure out how to make it work together!

When in doubt, it's always better to include too many shirts than not enough. A great option is to include two sets of t-shirts. A "priority" set that you definitely want included in the quilt and a "filler" set that you would like to be used to fill in where there's space as needed to make the quilt the proper size they want. This is a great option!

Important: Please stick a piece of colorful tape (think painters or masking tape) onto any logos you do NOT want included in the quilt, and I'll skip them.

Any full t-shirts (from a “filler” set) that are not used will be returned to you with your finished quilt. All other t-shirt remnants will not be returned.

PLEASE NOTE: I cannot accept returns of bedding items or custom made items (i.e., quilts or pillow shams). The only exception is if there is some damage or defect that you discover within 5 days of receiving your quilt. Thanks for understanding!
